Research assistant at the Department of Mining Engineering and Education.
She graduated the National Mining Academy of Ukraine on specialty "Production Management" in 1998 and received qualification of economist. She has been working at the department since 2006 after management of the Center of Science and Research Creativity for Young People under Scientific Research Division of NMU, where she was engaged on preparation and execution of student conferences, academic competitions, and publication of student collection of scientific articles.
In the present time, she is engaged in research activity and deal with complex topics "Development of Synthesis Principles of Information and Geomechanical Systems Control of Underground Mine Operation Processes", where takes participation the researchers of the National Mining University, Kruvyi Rih National University, and Donbass State Technical University.
Since 2010 she is responsible for publishing English-language collection "Progressive Technologies of Coal, Coalbed Methane, and Ores Mining" (Netherlands, CRC Press / Balkema) that is included in scientometrical database "Web of Science".
O. Malova is a member of Organization commission the Annual International School of Underground Mining, also she is executive secretary and technical editor of specialized scientific and technical collection "Mining of Mineral Deposits".
As a scientific researcher, she had been taking participation in research work on the topics: GP – 422 "Scientific Conceptions of Three-Dimensional System Maintains "Rock Massif – Support" taking into account limiting and superlimiting conditions and standardized means of gaseous mixture control", GP – 450 " Scientific Conceptions of Space-Anisotropic Deformation System "Rock Massif – Support" taking into account the control of labor conditions in mines by dust factor", and OB – 52 "Design of Technologic Regulations of Ground Control and Mine Working Protection on Flat Coal Seams" etc.
As a responsible editor, she involved in writing a number of monograph, including "Experimental Research of Rock Bottom Heaving in Development Mine Workings on Flat Coal Seams of Donbass". "Geomechanics of Loading and Calculation Parameters of Support and Protection Systems of Development Mine Workings in Western Donbass Mines", "Analitic-and-Experimental Investigations of Improving Stability of Extraction Workings and Calculation Parameters of Support System", "Geomechanics of loading Support of Stope and Development Workings in Foliated Massif of Week Rocks"
At the department she deals with the problems of modeling of process mine production using computing experiment methods, possesses of computer graphic and additional programs for text processing and preparation materials for printing.
