Associate professor of the Mining Department, PhD.
He has been working at the department since 1991, after finishing his postgraduate courses at Dnipropetrovsk institute named after Artem.
He gives lectures on following subjects: "Technology of Underground Mining Operations", "Professional Functions and Tasks of Specialists" to students of electrical engineering department, distance education institute. He is a supervisor of design and diploma projects.
Besides lecturing activity at the department, since 2011 he has been a director of the Distance Education Institute, a head of the selection committee to the specialties of the distance education institute, an expert on "Mining" school of the selection committee of the NMU. V. Sulayev is a member of the NMU academic council.
He has been honored with a certificate of Honor by the regional Council and the city mayor, "Miner’s Glory" of the 3rd degree and "Excellent Student of the Education", Honorary Diploma of the NMU.
Basic scientific activity is directed on improvement of technique and technology of thin and very thin coal seams, research of stress-strain state of the rock massif.
Total amount of research works is about 40, also 4 patents for useful model and 4 for invention. He took part in national and international conferences and forums.
