Associate Professor at the Department of Mining Engineering and Education, PhD.
He graduated the National Mining Academy of Ukraine on specialties "Economics of Enterprises" in 2001 and "Underground Mining of Mineral Deposits" in 2003. He had been working at the National Mining University as an assistant of Mining Department during 2007 – 2009 years. In 2009, he defended his thesis. He has been working as an assistant professor since September 2010.
Andrii gives a lectures for students of full-time and part-time education in many specializations on following subjects: "Geotechnology in Mining (Underground Mining Operations)", "Basic Conceptions and Terminology in Mining", "Theory of Rock Massif Control", "Material Science", "Processes of Underground Mining Operations", and also diploma projects. He tightly collaborates with students in theirs preparation for student conference.
He has been working as a curator of training course "Mining" in Pavlohrad technical school under SHEE "NMU".
A. Yavorskyi is a laureate of the President of Ukraine Prize for young researchers 2013 (Decree of the President of Ukraine №659 / 2013 from 02/12/2013).
He takes active part in occupation guidance that carried out annually for school leavers in Pavlohrad region. Andrii fulfils commitments of curator in student groups. He manages annually the curricular practical training for students of second year of study on PJSC "DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia".
He took part as executor in research scientific work on them GP-464 "Substantiaiton of Technical and Technological Parameters of Energy-Chemical Complex on the Base of Borehole Underground Coal Gasification".
His research activity involves the following directions: research of stress-strain state of rock massif while mining of coal seams under protection objects, borehole underground coal gasification, research of process of methane explosion appearance under destruction of gas-saturated massif, technology for thin coal seams extractions with waste rock storage in mines.
Total amount of research works is 62, including papers in specialized editions that included in international scientometrical database Scopus, 8 monographs and 2 patents for invention.
