Associate Professor at the Department of Mining Engineering and Education, PhD.
He has been working at the department since 2004 after graduating from postgraduate courses.
At present, V. Russkikh gives lectures to students of third and fourth years of study. The major subjects are "The Processes of Mining Operations", "Computer Technology in Mining", "Modelling of Mining Objects", and "Computer Technology in Mining Design". He is a head of graduation projects of full-time and distance education students.
During last period, Vladyslav has participated in composing such textbooks as "Processes of Mining Operation in Coal Mines’ and ‘Basic Concepts of Mining Technology".
V. Russkikh takes part in the department scientific seminar devoted to the discussions of candidate and doctoral theses at the National Mining University.
Since 2012, he has been actively involved in the organization of national students’ competitions on ‘Mining’, held at the National Mining University and Technical University of Kryvyi Rih. The main research activities are focused on the development of simulation models of mining.
Total amount of research works is 34 and 3 patents.
