    He has been working at the department since 2014.

    V. Lozynskyi finished the Chervonohrad State Technical school of Mining Technologies and Economics (Chervonohrad, Lviv region), specialty "Mining of Underground Coal Deposits" (2008) and SHEE "National Mining University" on specialty "Underground Mining of Mineral Deposits" (2011). He defended his master's thesis: "Determination of Technological Parameters of Underground Coal Gasification during Crossing Geological Fault".

    While studying at the university he has begun working as a research assistant on the budget and contract themes. From 2010 to 2013, he worked as an engineer of International Scientific Project Office of the National Mining University. From 2011 to 2014, he studied at postgraduate courses at the Mining Department. In July 2014, he received a certificate for knowledge the Polish language of Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland.

     Currently Vasyl Lozynskyi gives practical classes on following subjects "Technology of Underground Mining" and "Computer Graphics for Mining", design projects on the discipline "Technology of Underground Mining". He has been delivering professional English to bachelors and specialists of the mining faculty on the discipline "Bases of Mining" in English. Besides, he takes an active role in the development of methodological support for students I-IV courses with the advanced study of professional English. He has been a part of the editorial board of the collection of research papers of the Balkema publishing house (Netherlands).

     Major research activities are focused on substantiation of the parameters of borehole underground coal gasification technology in the zone of geological fault influence. At the present stage, Vasyl is preparing to defend his PhD thesis.

    Total amount of research works is 32, including 9 scientific papers in professional journals, 2 monographs, 20 articles in Ukraine and abroad, two patents. Co-author of the tutorial – "Basic Concepts of Mining Technology" which is designed for students of higher educational institution.
